Serves 6
Ingredients:
1½ cup (375ml) ready-made custard
6 jam rollettes, cut into quarters
⅓ cup (80ml) sweet sherry
250g fresh or frozen raspberries
250g fresh strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
300ml cream, whipped
Method:
- Divide half of the custard into the base of six parfait glasses or 1½ cup (375ml) glass tumblers. Place half the rollettes on top of the custard in each glass. Pour half of the sherry into the glasses, then top with almost half of the berries and half of the cream.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients, to givetwo layers, finishing with the cream. Decorate each of the trifles with the remaining berries.
