Ingredients:
350g-400g cabbage, shredded
2 green chillies, cut slantwise into fairly big pieces
for frying:
1 big onion, slice thinly
1 sprig curry leaves
1 tsp brown mustard seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup grated coconut, add 1 cup water and extract equal amount of milk
salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
Method:
Heat oil, add ingredients for frying and chillies, and fry till fragrant. Add cabbage and stir fry for a few minutes. Add coconut milk and salt, and cook over medium heat till gravy boils. Continue cooking until cabbage is just tender then remove from heat.
