Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
½ onion, slice thinly
1 green chilli, slice diagonally
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 small sprig curry leaves
½ tsp brown mustard seeds
½ cup grated coconut, grind coarsely
salt to taste
½ teacup water
300g long beans, cut into 2cm lengths
Method:
Heat oil in frying pan and fry onion, chilli, turmeric powder, curry leaves and mustard seeds till light brown. Add ground coconut and salt and keep frying till fragrant. Add water, stir, then add long beans and cook till beans are tender, stirring now and then while cooking.
