Ingredients:
1 can (425g) sardines
grind to a smooth paste:
12-15 dried chillies, soak
10 shallots
1 thin slice ginger
1 clove garlic
4 candlenuts
3 tbsp oil
2 green mangos, peel, cut into half, remove seed and cut each half into 4
2 large onions, cut into thick slices
salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil, add ground ingredients and salt and fry till fragrant. Add sardines (include sauce if any) and stir, mixing well with paste. After a minute or two, add onions and mango, stir fry for about 1 minute then remove from heat.
