Ingredients:

1kg chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces
4 medium tomatoes, seeds removed, cut into pieces then liquidise
2 cloves garlic, add to tomato and liquidise
½ tbsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp butter
6 tbsp tomato puree
800ml water
1 medium carrot, peel then cut into small cubes
50g green peas
juice of 1 lemon
salt to taste


Method:

Combine chicken with ground tomato and pepper. Heat butter, add chicken-tomato mixture and stir well. Add tomato puree, water, carrot and green peas. Bring to the boil, add lemon juice and salt and stir well. Continue to simmer till chicken and carrots are soft.

Note: This is a bland dish suitable for children.
