Ingredients:

600g potatoes, scrub well, boil and cut each into 6 wedges; do not peel
1 tsp coriander seeds + 6 dried chillies, roast in dry pan and grind coarsely
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 large tomato, chop coarsely
1 medium sized onion, grate coarsely
1 cup water
salt to taste
6 tbsp oil


Method:

Heat oil, add potatoes and stir fry. Add ground ingredients and turmeric powder, stir, add onion, tomato and water, stir, add salt and leave to cook till gravy is quite thick.
