Ingredients:

150g carrot, cut into thick strips

combine:
2 tbsp tomato puree
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt

2 tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, grind fine
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp chilli powder
¼ tsp cumin powder


Method:

Heat oil, add garlic and mustard seeds. When brown, add tomato puree mixture. Boil and remove from heat. Add spice powders. Stir, pour over carrot and mix well.


Note: Serve with meat dishes. May be stored in a jar.
