Ingredients:

300g okra (ladies fingers), slice thin
2 onions, chop fine
2 cloves garlic, chop fine
2 green chillies, chop fine
5 tbsp oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp cumin powder
juice of 1 lime
salt to taste
2 large tomatoes, chop


Method:

  • Heat oil, add chopped ingredients. Fry till onions are soft and slightly brown. Add okra, mix well. Add spice powders, salt and lime juice and mix well. Add tomato, stir and cook till soft.
  • Serve with chapati or plain boiled rice.
